To choose for what purpose? Ultimate is Image 4 in 64 bit install.wim

If you want to extract individual files, e.g. with 7-zip, it doesn't really matter, most of the files are the same.

Well what dvd do you have ?

Is it Home Premium, Pro or Ultimate ?

Or is it an all version dvd that you or someone else made ?

These are the files that should show up on an unaltered disc.

They are the same apart form the little ei.cfg file. They all contain all the images.

You could try replacing the one from component store (winsxs).

Failing that, you are probably best doing a repair install. You will need to put your product key in afterwards. You will also need to get all the updtaes ( unless you have updated your install.wim already ).
