Can't Find Key So I am using Windows 7 64 bit and can't install SP1 since there are some files that are missing or corrupt. I have tried a bunch of key finders and non of them can find me my Windows 7 product key. I don't have my key since I used a program through college to get WIndows 7 and they didn't give me a product key. Does anyone know of a program or a different way to pull my product key? | My System Specs |

Try KeyFinder.cfg from MagicalJellyBean Software or Nuclear Coffee RecoverKeys.

The senior members presented much better ideas. MagicalJellyBean Software keyfinder is better for XP systems, but is free. I believe, to this day, it still presents a false positive.
Belarc's product does a full audit. Good idea. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number System OS Operating System CPU Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.4GHz / Core i7 Q740 @ 1.73GHz Motherboard A Memory A Graphics Card A Sound Card A Monitor(s) Displays S Screen Resolution s Keyboard A Mouse A PSU A Case A Cooling A Hard Drives A Internet Speed A Other Info A |

I tried KeyFinder.cfg, Belarc, and SIW. Non of them can find me my key. The only program that pulled up a key was Belarc and it says the key is BBBBB-BBBBB-BBBBB-BBBBB-BBBBB which is wrong since it also says that is the key for internet explorer.
Is there any other free programs that would be able to pull my key? | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 Professional 64 bit |

It would appear, at least, the Windows 7 install isn't a legal one, maybe. Each of those programs will find your key, if present, along with keys you didn't know you have. Major Geeks has a long list of key finding programs, some are pay for though.
