Cool to hear Jack! Just because Windows has a new "feature", doesn't mean it useful to everyone.

I think it's going to take a lot of manipulation to get it to where I have a Windows Explorer I can be comfortable with. The Explorer++ program seems to give me a simple tree, so I'll work with that a while. I appreciate very much everyone's help.

BSOD - Memory management and other issues
Hi everyone, I've had about 4 different messages in BSODs over the last 2 weeks. When I boot up, I pretty much cross my fingers, hoping that it'll get passed the Windows Logo. That's where the BSOD always happen. That, and when I shutdown (twice maybe). The most common one is MEMORY...

Win 7 is parsing video files during file management!
I have discovered that Win 7 x64 tries to parse video files in some way while working with them (file management) - I don't know if it's trying to build a video thumbnail, or what. But as a result, in certain circumstances, such as working with them on a network share, file operations take...

File Management in Windows 7 is Annoying.
Just want to vent about this. I'm oldschool XP, so when I can't put file management buttons on the explorer bar (copy to, move to, delete, etc...), file management has become quite annoying in 7 now. I'd hate to ditch the new Explorer because it allows access to the libraries among other things,...
