Burn image to USB drive Hi,
I am wondering if it is possible to burn an image iso to a USB driver and by which mean?
I googled about but didn't find a clear answer. Replies are sometimes contrary and divergent.
Thank you | My System Specs |

that's because you don't "burn" stuff on USB.. You only burn data on Compact Disks, which is probably why you can't find results from google | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Asus G73SW-XN2 OS Windows 2000 5.0 Build 2195 CPU Intel Core i7-2630QM@2GHz(2.9GHz Turbo Boost) [Sandy Bridge] Motherboard Asus G73SW (Intel HM65 Chipset) Memory Kingston DDR3 1333 16GB (4GBx4) Graphics Card nVidia GTX 460m 1.5GB Sound Card EAX Advanced HD 5.0, THX TruStudio Monitor(s) Displays 17.3 in. primary & 23 in. secondary Screen Resolution 1920x1080 Keyboard Built-in 102-Key Backlit Keyboard Hard Drives Seagate Momentus XT (SATA II) 500 GB @ 7200 RPM

OK, thanks again.
Actually, I would like to burn a CD content, not iso image to obtain bootable USB for windows. I wish to copy a CD content to USB to avoid carrying the CD all time.
Some notebooks don't have CD drive, so if we can burn CD/DVD content to USB stick this will solve the issue of the absence of CD drive.
So I asked if we can use windows7 USB tool to burn the CD content to USB drive. | My System Specs

Yes it does. you may use it for disks or USB drives. An iso will be need to make it bootable and work like the CD. This will create an iso from a CD\DVD ISO CD DVD image
This one may be better just to create a iso from a CD/DVD ISO disk ...it's free | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Home Built Desktop By DataTech OS Windows 7 Ultimate X64 SP1 CPU Intel i5-2550K, Differing ~4.4-4.8GHz No built in GPU Motherboard ASUS P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3 Memory 16GB G.Skill Sniper 2133MHz 4x4GB Graphics Card ASUS ENGTX460 DirectCU/2DI/1GD5 GeForce GTX 460 Sound Card Onboard Realtek 5-1 Monitor(s) Displays Samsung P2570HD Screen Resolution 1920x1080 Keyboard Old, beat-up Dell USB From 10 yrs Ago Mouse Gigabyte m6900 wired PSU Corsair HX650W Case Inwin Dragon Rider Cooling Hyper 212 EVO w/two Noctua fans, push-pull, @1300 RPM Hard Drives Crucial M4 128GB for OS, 750GB Seagate MomentusXT for data, 500GB Seagate Constellation for storage Internet Speed 8-19 Mbs down, 3-4 Mbs up Comcast Cable Antivirus Norton Internet Security Browser IE 9, Opera when needed Other Info 4 case fans, LG BluRay-RE, ASUS DVD-RW, Mr. Fusion power generator with flux capacitor, 1.21 gigawatts. |

Thankyou very much.
Just one last think please, I am a little bit confused, can we burn an iso image virtually without need to CD? I mean, burn the iso image to virtual CD drive, without need to insert a CD physic support?
I try to do it but I have a message that a CD is not inserted! | My System Specs

If you want a good general purrose USB "burner" you could do worse than to use YUMI - Multiboot USB Creator (Windows) | USB Pen Drive Linux. It even has support for a windows 7 Install iso. | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Hewlett-Packard/G62-107SA Notebook OS Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit 7601 Multiprocessor Free Service Pack 1 CPU Intel(R) Core(TM) i3 CPU M 330 @ 2.13GHz Motherboard Hewlett-Packard 1425 Memory 8 GB DDR3 Graphics Card Intel(R) HD Graphics Sound Card Realtek High Definition Audio Monitor(s) Displays Builtin Screen Resolution 1366 x 768 x 32 bits (4294967296 colors) @ 60 Hz Mouse Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 Hard Drives 250 GB SATA Hard Disk Drive 7200 rpm
