| windows 7 home premium 64bits 34 posts | problem sending command When I click on a desk shortcut to open a program, I get first the statement:" There was a problem sending the command to the program." Then the program opens anyhow. The computer runs windows 7 and firefox 3.51. How can I get rid of the unnecessary statement:" There was a problem sending the command to the program?" TIA gfheiche |

| windows 7 home premium 64bits 34 posts | Hey Ken, It is a desktop with an AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor, 1GB RAM, 32 bit. I upgraded from Vista home premium to Windows 7 Ultimate, using the latest free Release Candidate. Firefox 3.51 Thanks gfheiche |

Thanks gfheiche You would just go to the C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox folder and right click on the firefox.exe file and clickon Send to and Desktop (Create shortcut) to create the new shortcut to open Firefox with.   |
