    format the partition containing windows


    Hello everyone. I have two windows on my system, one in drive C and another in drive D. Both are windows 7. Now, I want to format the partition D but I cannot. could u please help me in this issue? I want just keep the windows in drive C and format all thing of drive D...

    You better have a look in disk management and see which partition is your primary boot partition. Post a screen shoot of it with the snipping tool to this thread if you like. Just because the partition is labeled D: doesn't mean its the second partition on the drive. Are you getting a screen asking you to select which windows 7 install to boot too when you boot up the PC?
