Want to reverse the boot option?

I would like to reverse the dual-boot, I set up with XP SP3 then I loaded Windows 7 Home Premium (64bit) on partition D.
When the machine now boots, I am given the option of Windows 7 or Older version of Windows which is of course Windows XP. Works great. Now I would like to change the boot order.

I looked at msconfig boot tab while in XP but can't see anything to chg !!

    I'm missing a mind blank

Hello Ziggie, and welcome to Seven Forums.

Double check while in Windows 7 to see if you may be able to change the default OS from here instead.

    Hope this helps,

Hi ziggie and welcome to W7 Forums

Open an Elevated Command Prompt and at the prompt type bcdedit and press enter/return. Attach the result to your reply.

Hello ziggie, welcome to Seven Forums!

You will have to use the BCDEdit command line to change the default boot; have a look at this tutorial at the link below and be sure to post back with any further questions you may have and to keep us informed.
