A few questions on the student discount Windows 7

Okay so I think I'm about to buy the Windows 7 student discount version. It's a Windows 7 Professional Upgrade. However I still have a few questions.

    1. Currently I have Vista 32 bit but I want to go to Windows 7 64 bit. Can I do a custom (full) install to make this transition?

    2. When I buy the student version, is it possible for me to get a disk? It's to my knowledge in order to do the full installation (custom) you have to have a physical disk.

    3. Is this student discount an OEM version or not? I don't want OEM.
