    desktop.ini ??????

    Hello All
I have a problem. I don't know when it started, but I have noticed that
in almost all of the folders that I open There is a "desktop.ini (Configuration
settings)". I delete it but after I restart the computer it reappears again.
I have no idea what this is or why its in all these files.
    Any help will be apriciated.

It has always been there you probably just check show all files and folders in control panel.

They are needed and normal. To hide go into cpanel>folder options>view>hidden files and folder dont show

Hi, yup it will be in Media Player too when you open a disk sometimes, as Files ready to burn...
All harmless and are self replicating.
