I had an .srt file in my desktop and each time i am trying to delete it i just can't! Windows can't find the filepath. It's 0 byte etc! Any thoughts? I tried the "Take ownership" but still same

I think you answered your question in the title, it is already deleted. Try refreshing your desktop and/or rebooting. sometimes Windows "forgets" a file is deleted.

Malwarebytes has a permanent file delete feature, give that a go.

You can also try UNLOCKER 1.9.1 BY CEDRICK 'NITCH' COLLOMB but use wisely, it can allow you to delete system files and you'd have to reinstall Windows. You could also try Take Ownership Shortcut on the files you want to delete. Heed the warnings for this.
