    winload is corrupted?

I attempted to install Ubuntu, which horribly failed. I go to re-add Windows 7 to the boot and I get "Winload is corrupted." error. It asks me to repair the system, but I don't have a CD.

Is it possible to repair the computer (WITHOUT LOSING ANYTHING!) from Vista?

    Thanks.

use another computer to download a Windows 7 ISO and burn to DVD. then use that DVD to repair your install or fix the MBR.

Is there anyway to fix it without burning it to a DVD, I've ran out and don't want to buy any unless completely necessary.

Sure there is a way to install without dvd or spare HD. If you have a usb drive there is a tutorial in the tut section on how to do that. If no usb, do you have enough room to make another partition from which win 7 could be installed.

    Hope this helps

I don't have a big enough USB. I was wondering, if I install Windows 7 into a VirtualMachine can I do sfc /scannow?

Or is there anyway I can repair Windows 7 from my virtual machine?
