    sleep mode help needed all hands on deck please


    i have hybrid sleep enable just started for 2 days now when i go to sleep 2 out of three time it comes out of sleep but my montior says no signal so something is wrong when the graphics card is coming out of sleep it does not communcate with montior and cause no signal when i force it off i have to delete resume function from the windows resumer loader screen also two times i get the blue screen of death the monitor says no signal then comes on with the BSOD this is the second time in two days my card is geforce 8800GTX

    and it only happens sometimes, is that correct? You move the mouse or something to bring it out of sleep and 2 out of 3 times it starts back up ok?
    Have you tried different ways of bringing it out of sleep when it fails?

    no two of three times when it comes out of sleep my monitor says no signal meaning it is not communcating properly with the graphics card

    OR it's not coming out of sleep mode. You don't know, do you? no display means no information.
    I would try altering the power down/sleep settings to see if anything changes.
    Sleep mode can be tricky. Some computers just do not tolerate it well.

    no i know it was awake coz i did a experiment and it played music even thought there was no signal in the montior and 2 times also in two day got the blue screen of death

    how did it go into sleep mode w/a music player going?

    it did maxium the app and when it came out of sleep i press the space and it started to play something with the graphics card communcating with the monitor

    Excellent diagnostics, good work.
    Maybe somebody will log in that has better ideas than I do. All I can think of is trying different power settings. In my experience, sleep mode, as I said, is tricky and not all computers tolerate it well. It is possible your computer just won't let you do what you want.
