Curious.

Curious indeed, but may just be a glitch.

I'm sure we'll find all kinds of strange in the next few months.

I can set my date format to add in the leading zeros or not to both months and days....

If you set the setting to use no leading zeroes:

Name: Windows 7 Build 7000 Date Settings no leading zeros.PNG
Views: 6
Size: 51.3 KB

You get dates with no leading zeroes:

Name: Windows 7 Build 7000 Date Settings no leading zeros - winver.PNG
Views: 35
Size: 53.3 KB

If you set it to *use* leading zeroes:

Name: Windows 7 Build 7000 Date Settings with leading zeros.PNG
Views: 5
Size: 58.0 KB

You get leading zeroes:

Name: Windows 7 Build 7000 Date Settings with leading zeros - winver.PNG
Views: 34
Size: 53.8 KB

Hi John,

Did you find a way to set it to the year 2020 - short of using PS of course.

No, that one is escaping me - but the rest of it can easily be done, so the 2020 thing I am not sure about....

Have you tried installing Windows 7 with your Bios clock set to a different time?

That is what I was thing too - but that date *should* be hard coded into the bootloader, I would think, so that should not make a difference...

If it *does* make a difference, then someone at M$ is gonna get slapped.

I got my old P4 rig out and I am gonna try it right now....

I know there was a crack that reloads the timer or something.

Yeah, but it should prevent *installation* in the first place.
