Yeah, but it should prevent *installation* in the first place.
Yeah well Vista's SP1 was supposed to stop the OEM BIOS crack but never did.

    Yep

You notice it says 01/07/2020 - that's English. Also it has 01 instead of the single digit i.e. 7/1/2009.

    Curious.

Yep, sure does, as I installed with the UK version settings that is way it is in the English date format (leading zero's and dd/mm/yyyy).

Please feel free to verify with other UK installers, I can guarantee that this is the why it is displayed for a UK installation.

I think it has no use setting it to 2020. It will probably check the date and time on some Microsoft server and it will probably get instructions from them to expire on a specific date...

    Hi Bellorophon,

I installed with English (United Kingdom ) - I don't get the 2020 expiry, though. I'd really like a copy of your iso.

Hope it keeps working till then for you.

If you want to get Se7en until 2545 install it on a Thai computer using Thai settings, the current year in Thailand right now is 2545.

I knew the Thai people came from the future....there was always something strange about them

Anyways, my current test failed, VPC doesn't save the changed date in bios, keeps resetting to the system time...
