Windows 7: Inconsistent Boot Process

Inconsistent Boot Process

About half the time, I get the BIOS screen, followed by "Windows Starting' then immediately Welcome and then the desk top in about 30 seconds. The rest of the time, I get No Video Input immediately after the "Windows Starting" screen. When this happens, there is nothing on the screen and in about 1 to 2 minutes, the screen comes back on and the destop is loading. This PC is about 6 weeks old and has Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. It is a clean OS installed by PC Direct. The second hard drive is a IDE with SATA interface unit, and a second DVD also IDE with a SATA interface. I tried to start with the DSL disconnected and that does not have any affect. While it always starts, there is something not right and I want to preclude an issue if one is eventually going to prevent starting.
