i3 boot failure

Hi

i have sony VAIO notebook. the problem is, last days it got hanged and turned off. when i tried to restart, it asked for startup repair. when i tried to recovery it turned off again. now it is only displaying message as "no operating system". even pressing F10 key does not make any result.

please help. i had also tried to install new windows but all vein.

please help anybody.

Hi anilmasih123, welcome to sevenforums. Start the pc and press 'f2' to enter setup ( BIOS ) when prompted. Then, set it to boot to the dvd first and do a startup repair, with your Windows 7 disc. Hopefully you have one.
