Removing old windows folders/inheriting permissons

I am having problems deleting an old Windows folder from a secondary internal sata drive. When i select the folder and press delete i get the message "you require permission from administrators to make changes to this folder - try again".

My pc's Username is Main-pc. I believe it needs to inherit permissions from the
'administrators' before i can delete this old folder. Can anyone point me to the quickest way to do this?

I enclose a couple of screen captures to highlight my point.

Thanks in advance.
