Windows 7 within the EU

I live within the EU and I´m wondering if only the E and N versions will be solved within EU ?

No IE8 at all ?

Hello Typhos,

Nope, no IE8 included in the E and N Windows 7 versions due to EU antitrust laws. You can still download and install IE8 for these versions though.

Hope this helps,

Hi all
If you are a member of technet you'll be able to download a FULL Windows 7 RTM version WHEREVER YOU ARE.

It seems that technet suscribers will get it on or around Aug 13 -- only around 3 weeks now so I'm leaving 7137 installed until then.

Considering the discounts you can get by joining technet and the software you can download (fully functioning and not time limited) I would recommend everyone - especially if you have several computers - to sign up.

Seems to be to be a "No Brainer".

Cheers
