Middle click changed behavior after update?

    hello..

I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but I believe the middle-click (wheel click) has changed behavior on the taskbar.
When I used to middle-click on an icon (e.g. Internet Explorer) that's pinned on the taskbar, it used to pop up a new window.

Now whenever I do this, it brings me the alt-tab window selection.
I suspect it happened after some update.

    Anyone else confirms?

    If so, it sucks!

Never mind, I figured it out.

It WAS after an update, but the update has to do with IntelliMouse. It adds custom settings on the mouse wheel functions.

Like wises, I was playing a video game and my middle mouse button no longer functioned how I had it set up. Thanks for the post, now I don't have to create a new thread for a simple fix.

Yes, it also closes windows when you hover over them at the preview panes down at the taskbar. Middle-clicking on the preview pane, closes each open window instance.

You can change what action the different buttons on your mouse perform by going to the Mouse Control Panel.
