Ok , set the folder to the size you want then go to organize, folder and search options, click the view tab and click apply to folders button, you may have to do this a few times in different folders, im sure there is a way to set it for this type of folder type ,will have a look.
heres brinks tutorial he explains it better. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...l-folders.html

Hello Riptorn,
I'm not sure if I fully understand what you want or not, so let me know if not.
The divider that you mention is actually the preview pane width border instead. This is a universal setting that affects all folders in Windows 7. You change the width in any other folder, and it will change it in all of them.
If you do not want to have "Details" folder view, then you could click on View (menu bar) and select one of the icon view sizes instead. Icon Size - Change in Windows Explorer Window Hope this helps,

Set it to how you want it, and close the folder. Now open the folder again. Does it open back the same way as you just last closed it?
If it does, then remember that if you change the width of the preview pane in any other folder, it changes it in all of them.
If it does not, then reset all folder views back to default, and try again. You may have to turn the preview pane back on afterwards though. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Self built custom OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1 CPU Intel i7-980X 3.3 Ghz (3.48 Ghz OC'd) Motherboard ASUS P6X58D Premium Memory 12 GB (2GBx6) DDR3 PC3-16000 2000 MHz Kingston HyperX Graphics Card Sapphire HD5870 Eyefinity 6 2GB Sound Card Realtek HD Audio ALC889 Integrated Chip Monitor(s) Displays 3x 27" Asus VE278Q Screen Resolution 1920x1080 Keyboard Logitech Cordless Desktop MX 5500 Revolution Mouse Logitech Cordless Desktop MX 5500 Revolution PSU OCZ Series Gold OCZZ1000M 1000W Case Corsair Obsidian 800D Cooling Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme Copper CPU heat sink w/120 MM Hard Drives 160GB OCZ RevoDrive X2

Also Riip if you like, open any folder, in the upper right is the show/hide preview pane icon. You can click this to toggle the preview pane on or off for all folders. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Brittechnologies II OS Windows 7 Ultimate X86 SP1 CPU i5-2550K differing speeds depending on the day Motherboard ASUS P8X68-V PRO/GEN3 Memory 16GB G.Skill Sniper 2133MHz, 4X4GB Graphics Card ASUS ENGTX460 DirectCU/2DI/1GD5 GeForce GTX 460 Sound Card Onboard Realtek 5-1 Monitor(s) Displays Samsung P2570HD Screen Resolution 1920x1080 Keyboard Old Dell USB From 10 yrs Ago Mouse Gigabyte m6900 wired PSU Corsair HX650W Case Inwin Dragon rider Cooling Hyper 212 EVO w/two Noctua fans @1300 RPM Hard Drives TBA Internet Speed 8-19 Mbs down, 3-4 Mbs up Comcast Cable Other Info 5 fans, LG Bluray/R/RE, ASUS DVD/R/RW Folder View Settings problems?
