Is there any way to do this? I can't do it from the "Devices & Printers" windows and when I make a shortcut of my printer on my desktop I can't send that to the taskbar either.

You might see if creating the shortcut in the tutorial below may work for you. It opens the Printers folder where you can see your printer, and is able to pin to the taskbar.
