    Asus Netbook BootMGR missing

Well, I wanted to reformat my Asus netbook to clean it all up and start over. While doing this through the recovery tool it stopped at 97% and said error retry, nothing happened. I tried to do the process over again and now I get the BOOTMGR missing

    Ctrl Alt Del

Well that does nothing, can someone please explain how to fix this mess

    Thanks

I was told to use Super Grub Disk, do you guys think this would work? I can run out and find an external drive for repair if needed

if you dont have a disc then you need to find a working pc and download it. Here is a link to help you do this and there are instructions to show you how to burn it (ISO FILE) Windows 7 32-Bit (x86) Recovery Disc

Thank you, I burnt the disk but I can't load it. The only thing I Can get into is the bios setup utility?

hi you will have to alter the preference of the disc drive to boot first in the bios as all bios differ i can not give you exact instructions. as windows boots go into the bios and change the bios so the disc drive boots first (also put the disc in while pc is on then reboot) and you will have to hit F12 or which key is assigned to the boot page to select which drive to boot to which should be easy as you only have two choices?

Thank you for all of your help, I was rushing through and not hitting "save" on the bios to keep the external drive booting up first. Looks like it's fixing it self up now. I will mark this thread as solved when it is complete.

I will rep you, thank you again
