    Creating Sleep Shortcut

I'm trying to create a sleep shortcut in Windows 7, but for some reason the computer always Hybernates instead. I have Hybrid Sleep disabled.

    My shortcut path is:

    C:\Windows\System32\rundll32.exe powrprof.dll,SetSuspendState 0,1,0

    I've also tried:

    C:\Windows\System32\rundll32.exe powrprof.dll,SetSuspendState m2

    And:

    C:\Windows\System32\rundll32.exe powrprof.dll,SetSuspendState

All three commands lead to Hybernation instead of sleep.

Can anyone tell me what am I missing here?

    Thanks,

UPDATE: I managed to resolve this by using a solution I saw in this forum.

    Sleep Shortcut - Create

I just opened cmd as Administrator and ran command:
    powercfg -h off

Apparently this disables Hybernation permanently and thus allowing the sleep shortcut to work.

The thing I don't understand is why do you have to run this command even though you already supposedly disabled Hybernation by disabling Hybrid Sleep in power options... ?
