What don't you like about Windows 7?

The things some people choose to complain about really amaze me. 
I really don't see what the big deal is about having to separately download a collection of apps that used be included with the OS. This solution makes people who don't want those apps on their system happy and those who do want them can still download them for free. What's not to like about this state of affairs?

After running 7 (build 7260) for quite awhile now, I have no complaints. I like it better than anything MS has released since 2000 Pro.
I'm easy though. I just want my computers to work with no BSOD issues, and without fear that I'm going to lose my data.

I am one of those people who want NONE of those stupid apps. Do you know how annoying it is to click on a mailto link accidentally and have to wait for outlook express to start up for no apparent reason because I don't use it?
If anything I wish they would have streamlined windows even MORE and made everything that isn't absolutely required to operate the OS optional. I would have liked a more advanced installation menu that allows me to choose specific components to install or not to install.

....Back we go to perhaps including Mail, and other options on the install disks and allowing the end user to make the decision. Personaly, I don't mind downloading free apps if I need them. I can however see a couple of reasons people would want them on the install disks.
First, yes... believe it or not, there are a lot of people who cannot get high speed internet. DSL is not available everywhere (Yet), and Unreliable SAT internet is priced out of range of a large population segment. ....and don't get me started on the "Fair Share" (In my oppinion) ripoff. This makes downloading large packages not only a pain a pain, it also (With some ISP "Timeouts", and other dialup restrictions/problems) is quite impossible for some.
Second, I would venture to bet, that there would be another large segment of users that would not even know the package is available.
Note: I do use a mail client. It's a personal pref.

Libraries, I like the idea of them but I guess I don't really know how to use them properly, also the speed of them when trying to view what's in them is kind of slow. I have a folder of movies added to my "Video" library and it takes ages to display them, I know they are on a external hard disk but when viewing the folder normally it just diplays them straight away. Other than that I love my 7.

I like Win7 a lot but my main problem with it is related to support for older hardware.
In particular my Ati X1800XL AIW graphics card (using RC the TV tuner and extended desktop just would not work no matter which drivers I installed) and my old yet perfectly good and reliable Logitech Formula Force steering wheel (also doesn't work due to lack of W7 drivers).
Be it the fault of their manufacturers or MS for not providing the drivers - the culprit makes no difference to me in the end - I am disappointed that if I fork out money for W7 I will also have to spend more money on replacing these 2 perfectly good and functional pieces of kit... and add to the pile of techno junk already out there.

Can't please em all.. Some in this thread have complained about the lack of included apps, others complain about the size of the install disk. I get the comment about lack of Broadband, but can't see much use in really upgrading your machine in the first place, if you are still working with Dial up..

It's not the size of the install disks that seems to have people up in arms, it's the size of the installed OS. Yes, Some want the kitchen sink thrown in; but others want options not to install some things (Unused apps or functions) on their hard drives, rather than just disable them.
This not only would reduce the footprint on the hard drive, it could also reduce the size of the registry, and perhaps memory requirments.
More flexable install options would also help advanced users taylor the OS for the way they use it, and omit the chaff.
Slow Internet is (Barely) better than no Internet, which for some people are the only two options. I know! I was there! It was horrid! All the more reason to have an OS that can do other things.

so far, attempting to install the student upgrade has been a nightmare. getting a "file read only" error every time is driving me insane. So.......my first impression of the switch to windows 7 has been horrible.
