URGENT HELP NEEDED, W7 asking for Access CODE

    Hi guys

W7 no longer asks me for password, I get a screen asking for a access code? I have searched all over the internet and haven't found a fix to this problem, any help would be appreciated

I am thinking that is malware. It certainly isnt windows. Boot into safe mode, does it happen there? If not down load malwarebytes and run it.

Where did you get Win7? How was it activated? Did you install Enterprise edition by any chance? It makes references that sound like Volume Activation used in Enterprise by businesses and other large-scale users. In this case it is in the hands of your SysAdmin.

If not and you can't get into Safe Mode to run Malwarebytes per Ken's suggestion, download and burn to CD or write to flash stick Microsoft Standalone System Sweeper, boot it to update and scan your System.

If infection is cleaned up, then you may need to run SFC -SCANNOW Run in Command Prompt at Boot multiple times to repair damaged System files until Win7 will start. Run it from DVD/Repair CD command line along with Startup Repair and System Restore.

Judging by the photo, their are multiple Florescent lights over your head, like your in some kind of office building or something who knows maybe your at an internet cafe or somthing? is this your machine or? It seems as though an Administrator has locked you out?

Maybe something similar to Strong Authentication with One-Time Passwords in Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2?

Either that or a Hacker/virus has locked you out?

I don't know if you already figured it out, but this error is caused by the Digital Persona security software, something to do with a bad software update to the Digital Persona product. If you have an HP, then the software is rebranded as HP SimplePass. Anyhow, AFAIK, booting to F11 and rolling back to an old restore point should fix it, and then if you don't use it, uninstall. Good luck!

    Better late than never.

Another good reason on HP for a Clean Reinstall for best performance.
