| | Falling asleep in spite of parameters Running Windows 7 Home Premium on a new Toshiba Satellite laptop. I'm performing a huge (5-day) Carbonite restore of files from my previous PC. I have the power parameters set to never go to sleep while on AC power; however, it does go to sleep frequently after a varying amount of time -- maybe one hour and maybe ten or more. FWIW, after getting interrupted by automatic Wiindows Update, I've temporarily disabled that. Does this sound familiar to anyone? |
