    Are there any difference between the OEM and the Retail versions? I think it is only the licence what is different (ei.cfg).

    There is no difference except for the licensing. Please refer to the FAQ stickied at the top of this forum (or in my sig), which explains OEM vs. Retail.

Doesn't the retail full version of W7 come with SP1? I was looking around online and it doesn't appear to. OEM versions list SP1, but the regular version doesn't specify? What's with that?

I'm about to install Windows 7 7600.16385 on a Sony Vaio FE880EH and Sony Vaio SR490. I was wondering which one I should install? Is there really a difference? EDIT: Also, if i installed Windows 7 and I wanted to downgrade back to Vista, can I do that with my recovery disk?
