Then you run into an "unsupported" laptop area. That basically means you are on your own to get drivers. In many case, the Vista ones work fine, but you can always track them down yourself. If the laptop uses an Intel chipset, then you know you can get them from Intel. Same with wireless...you can get them from the manufacturer. Like I said above, this is why it is important to know your specs offhand. I would think the network drivers for Vista would work fine under Windows 7, so that would get you online at least. You can also see what's listed for Vista to build your list of specs.
