Wedding at your house? Hmmm... Are you under 18? Well, Windows 7 is a Microsoft product... Seriously though... MSE is great.

Ha. It's not my wedding, and I'm well beyond being under 18. I can't hardly remember being under 18. It's just that we have waterfront property and the happy couple thought it was picturesque enough for their wedding. Unfortunately, most of the lake is dried up from the drought and their beautiful setting is now mud. LOL.

I think I have all the keys I need. I downloaded Magical Jelly Bean to get the Windows key, and it found one that's totally different from the one I have on my computer sticker. Hmm.

We're going to be using the key from the sticker (Certificate of Authenticity). Now, backup all your files, video's, ect. onto your external HDD. Do any of the programs you use contain data, or are just used as utilities? Example, games have save data's, so those need to be backed up.

Lots of data. I'll back it all up when I finish the other job I have to do, sometime tomorrow. I'll let you know when I've done it.

I downloaded the ISO of Windows 7 from http://msft-dnl.digitalrivercontent..../X15-65805.iso and burned it to a dvd using imgburn. I think that was the next step, no? Now I assume I reboot from the DVD and just let it do its thing?

Just tell me when you're done, then we'll proceed to the next step (re-install).
