    No, it's not tampered, it's the original MS ISO as he clearly states himself.

    Now I'm confused. At the moment I have a RTM "touched" build installed as W7 Home Premium as that is what I have on pre-order from Amazon UK.
    I was thinking I'd have to start over with a clean install come October as the disk that Amazon delivers will be a E version.
    However with the E build leaking it would be great to get that installed and then legitimate it with my activation code when I receive my retail copy.
    However there seems to be some confusion as to what we in the UK will get.
    Will there be a seperate browser choice disk or will the choice screen come during install? Will the E version happen at all? etc.
    In the end it's not crucial and I can do a clean install but it seems a drag to spend time installing games, building up browser favourites etc knowing I'll have to do it again in a few weeks.

    Just my thoughts, John:)

    @bjohnwillyums
    to know, how the choice of the Browser will be, we must wait the EU commission and than Microsoft. But the Code is freezed, so I do not think that will a diffrence from the actuel "E" version to the next "E" Version with Browser choice.
    I think and would like it, that they will make something like a Welcom-screen with the Browser-Choice, after the installation.

    But I do not think that if you install now the "E" version that you will need to do a fresh-clean install to activate it @ Octobre 22.

    i am expecting to get the E version too in october, but i'm not worried about installing it now. i'm running 6700 already, and october 22 is still 3 months away. considering how many clean installs i've done since january, 3 months is an eternity to go without formatting my drive! no big deal if you ask me...

    The keys for the E version will be the same as the US version.
    Even better if you buy a key online from USA its probably cheaper anyway, EU price is always more.
