Alphabetically order

Hi,
how can i order win 7 windows explorer view to order files and folders alphabetically like this:

folder a
file ab
folder abc
file abc

All I've managed to do is order it by name but ir orders first (or last) all the files and then shows all the folders, like this:
folder a
folder abc
file ab
file abc

In other words I wan't it to display the same sorting as the finder in mac osx

Thanks

You can't, without a 3rd party program/add-on.

Hmmm, I think maybe you CAN. Take a look at this tutorial and this 3rd party app:

File and Folder Arrangement - Change in Windows Explorer Window – can even put single files on top of folders in menu
xplorer² lite: free windows explorer replacement (file manager) – Can put file on top of folders

Any way to sort folder contents alphabetically?
This isn't such a big deal but I was just curious, does Windows 7 have any way to sort folder contents in true alphabetical order, like older versions of Windows used to? So that it sorts files like this: 1.txt 2000.txt 30.txt 4.txt

IE 8 Favorites keep resorting alphabetically
The last week or so the IE 8 favorites keep resorting, before this it would happen every few months but now it is several times a day. I've never clicked on "Sort by Name". I've seen a thread where IE 9 has the same problem, so I don't want to upgrade to 9 if I don't have to.

Sort alphabetically
WLM 2011 won't sort the "to" column alphabetically. Sort works OK with my other columns--subject, size and sent. Any ideas why the "to" column won't sort alphabetically? I've tried a repair. Windows reports that was successful, but it did not fix the problem. Thanks.

Rearrange HD icons non-alphabetically?
Minor annoyance, can't find a solution. Is it possible to change the order of the hard drive icons? I want to keep my backup drive as B: and call it "Backup", but I want the C: drive listed first. http://666kb.com/i/bbisczkcdy065c87m.jpg
