    speech recognition

I'm not sure if this is the right site but I'm learning speech recognition on Windows 7 and I'm not sure how to teach the computer a word like I will say "The cow jump over the moon" and it writes "The account jump over the moon" so I'm wondering how to teach it to write down "cow" instead of "account"?

Most errors are due to poor speech habits.

You have to enunciate properly with no affectations and no slurring. Speak with an even cadence, like a good TV news announcer.

A decent microphone will help, but is not a cure-all. You should get pretty good accuracy with a cheap microphone after you practice a bit. I would not upgrade the microphone until I had several hundred hours of experience with a cheap microphone. You have to understand what speech recognition can and cannot do.

Moving the microphone closer or further from your mouth can have some effect.

Practice by reading from a book.

With training, the application will be able to understand context---the difference between "to", "two", and "too", for instance.

I use Dragon NaturallySpeaking 11.5 and with any speech recognition as ignatzatsonic said it's training, training, and enunciating works the more the better it gets.
You can Open the Speech Dictionary and add words

I have questions about changeing start menu and Explorer

I use Dragon NaturallySpeaking 11.5 also. I paid $59 (it was on sale), from $99.

I bought a computer yesterday and I forgot to save my speech file from my other computer so I had to retrain with Dragon yesterday. I only did 10 min. of training yesterday.

    It has worked great.

(I dont know anything about speech recognition that comes with Windows 7 so I cant say anything about it).

I got mine on sales to after the sale price it was $54 and then I got a $30 gift card so it cost me $24 not bad.
If you still have access to your old computer go to C:\ProgramData\Nuance\NaturallySpeaking11\Users and copy your folder and replace it in your new computer.

That would be tough to say but just a quick look on Google I found this Andrea Electronics / ON SALE! Noise Canceling Bluetooth Headset I am not recommending this because I know nothing about it but that is probably close to what you are looking for. I'm sure there's all kinds of price range so you will have to do your research.
