    PC Wont Start

    Hello
My Pc (homemade desktop) wont start propely. . Just awesome the day Deus Ex is realesed xD. I hit the power button, everythings turns on, but nothing external gets a signal to the PC; monitor, mouse, keyboard headset. I can hear a fan that is "restarting" inside the PC.

I have tried reseting the BIOS by removing the battery. This is the third time this happend, but I have always handed it in to repair, but I am kinda tired of paying 70$ and the repair dude doesnt want to explain how he fixed it :P No new components for 6 months, and the PC is around 1 year old

The problem seems to arrive after I have left the PC in the car for a few hours.

    Specs:
Windows 7 Home Premiun 64 bit
    8 gb Ram
    HD6950 (flashed to 6970)
    AMD Phenom X6 1055T
    SSD 120GB
    Gigabyte 790fxta-ud5

At first glance, heat related, but that would be to easy. Had similar problem about a month ago and typically I remove all external cables. Remove all internal cards except the graphics card and remove all memory chips except one. Rotate that memory chip if problem still occurs. Go into bios and do the default settings next and if so equiped, select the option to halt on error. This prevents the puter from starting over and over again on error. Do the case fans power up, how about the power supply fan start up. Post back. p.s. my problem was one of the memory chips went south.

    System Repair Disc - Create
If you can't make a repair disk, find someone with Win7 and make one on theirs, it'll work for you. Then try:
    System Recovery Options

The repair disk is not a Win 7 DVD installer, but will get you into the system Recovery Options.

    Hi,

Presumably you have re-seated your graphics card and re-checked all the connections? If not, check them carefully.

Check those connections - highly likely some may have loosened in a journey in your car.

In addition to the fine advice you have received, an easy way to keep an eye on your computer temps is with Speccy. Link is in my sig.
