    Printing Watermarks

I work with drawings and forms at my company. The drawings and forms are TIFF or PDF. I have to print these documents with a custom watermark. In the print dialog box I went to Properties then Edit tab. In there I set up a new watermark using the "Add Text" button. Finally, I saved the watermark. When I went to print using the watermark... (With it selected)...nothing printed on the documents.

I had no problem doing this with my old Windows XP computer, but for some reason Windows Seven will not let me print a watermark...

Can someone please steer me in the right direction with what I should do? Thank you

Hi knshives and welcome to W7 Forums

Take a look at this: watermark picture shark freeware image gallery protect

Currently, you are allowed to use it commercially without a license, but it is possible that this might change in the future. registration watermark picture shark freeware image gallery protect

Hello knshives, welcome to Seven Forums!

I use an older version of picture-shark a lot and it does an excellent job, if I had to purchase it I would.

Given that this is the latest version (over 9 yrs old), I don't think that it is being developed any more. It still works though, and does the job it is intended to do.

If you use MS Office, you might also try going to the "Watermark" settings provided:

From any Office doc (i.e. a Word page for example) go to Print, Properties, Effects, Watermarks, select Edit, and follow the on-screen directions for editing and printing watermarks.

    Imperfect 1:
I have tried that and nothing prints out on any of my documents

I have a Windows 7 computer and a Xp computer at my desktop, the XP computer will print the Text Watermark but the Windows 7 computer will not...all settings a exactly the same

I would like to get rid of the XP computer and work on the Windows 7 computer only, but I can't do so until I can print a Text Watermark on documents

Just use picture-shark, it works great; this is one image (snip) on top of another image (snip) and a watermark, all done with PS.
