Well, I do not know how to help you, but It is the RC, there are supposed to be bugs.

There was another thread on this forum about this topic... You may want to check: Extremely slow performance in Windows Explorer.
...as the thread says that it was solved...apparently a repair install did the trick in past occurrences...

EDIT: You may want to upgrade to the most recent Win7 version (RTM) though...IMHO...

This topic was discussed also here. At least for me the fix worked, had earlier the same problem but not anymore.

Worth to try.

Thanks very much, it works, I set up Customize Tab from Videos to General Items and now everything is fast.
