uninstalled google desktop now win search error "cant access device"

I installed google desktop for a while. Didnt like it. Unistalled thru google uninstall. Now search won't function. Get this error. Help fixing appreciated.

Do a system restore.
Start -> Type "System Restore" -> Enter -> Restore

Fill up your system specs, rather than mentioning them on each post.

Sorry had to edit it was google desktop not docs. System restore is not an option. It has been on system too long and too many changes have occured.
