Move a window slowly on desktop, all other windows disappear..
What gives? I didn't shake it or snap it. I was just moving it slowly. All other windows minimized. Is there any recourse?

You might try System Properties, Advanced, Performance Options. There might be a setting under the Visual Effects tab that might help. Have you the latest display drivers?
I checked there, it must be a subset of Aero. And yes, this is a fairly new system, I've installed the latest drivers.
Actually, I like this feature, let's me concentrate on 1 window (I have 5 monitors hooked up to this workstation). But it would be nice to undo. I just don't know how.
Found a solution: after you move one window very slowly, all other open windows disappear, and the one you're holding onto, stays "held" by the cursor. Shake the mouse / cursor / windows back and forth and the rest of the windows will appear right back.
Cool trick.
