Can someone help simplify this Command Prompt procedure for me?

It's pretty basic instructions and I understand how to run Command Prompt, but at step 5, I don't know how to execute the file so that I can apply the statements to the program. The link is:

You use the command CD to change directories in the command window. What does your cmd prompt say right now and what is the directory in which you installed Perfect world?

Hi JokerOfLife and welcome to W7 Forums

At the prompt, simply type the following and then press Enter.

    CD C:\Program Files\Perfect World Entertainment\PerfectWorld International\element

You could navigate to that folder in Windows Explorer, shift+right click the folder and choose Open Command Window Here ...
That would open a command session IN THAT LOCATION.

Ok, I did the Shift-Right Click and it brought up the line

    C:\Program Files\Perfect World International\element

but whenever I click enter, it just repeats the line. How do I go about doing step 6?

Thanks for all the help btw :)

You have to TYPE this at that prompt (per step 6):

    imagecfg -a 0x1 elementclient.exe

    Then hit Enter.

Sorry, first off didn't get a bot message saying you posted, and second, I should have given you a more complete answer. My suggestion was just to get you into the correct folder ...

I would say the command itself is not given properly in your directions. Not sure what to suggest. I don't know the software you are trying to config. I would suggest contacting 'DarthPanda16' if possible, and asking if he typed to actual command correctly. All DOS parameter switches I can think of follow a / (slash).

    Best of Luck,
