Random reboots of Win7 x64 Product 768_1

Hello everyone,

This is my first post, google brought me here when I was looking for a solution to a problem I've had with my Dell XPS Studio since almost the first day I got it in January of this year. I'll be using it either playing a game or streaming netflix when all of a sudden the speaker will emit this buzzing sound, the computer freezes and I get a blue screen. When it resets, I get the error message below. Has anyone seen this before? I've called Dell, and their hardware people have told me it's software, but their software people tell me it's hardware. I've basically given up on them and am determined to fix this with out their help.

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.768.3
Locale ID: 1033

Additional information about the problem:
BCCode: 50
BCP1: FFFFFFE4E6E9EF23
BCP2: 0000000000000000
BCP3: FFFFF88001256828
BCP4: 0000000000000005
OS Version: 6_1_7600
Service Pack: 0_0
Product: 768_1

Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. It will prevent me from throwing this computer in front of a train in frustration!

Edit: Here is the error log that was generated

Could you follow the directions here please?
http://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-d...tructions.html

Without the error log and dump file most anything I say right now will be solely based on guess work.
It sounds like a major driver issue, but it's really hard to say.

Well I was ready to go digging on this one, however currently it's displaying AVG as your issue.
I suggest removing it, and either finding a alternative software or reinstalling it fresh after a full removal. Something seems to be wrong with it.

If you do get another crash just upload the contents on c:\windows\minidump
It is possible there were multiple issues and the avg was just what the dump contained.
If that is the case you may experience another crash still, and I'll need the fresh minidump to troubleshoot.

That being said this may very well fix your problem and I hope it does

I don't have a personal favorite for free scanners right now.
MSE is generally trouble free, but does not offer the best level of protection, you basically have to trade protection level for functionality no matter what you pick.

Unfortunately that did not work. It crashed again shortly after uninstalling AVG. Here are the logs that I just ran, after uninstalling.

Curious it quotes memory corruption, but avast is the faulting app.
Either your computer just really hates antiviruses. Or you have a memory problem.
If you run this for about 5 to 7 passes it can clear memory from the cause.
RAM - Test with Memtest86+

Also you should probably run this since it's quick
SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker
