There is no difference between the Enterprise and Ultimate versions of W7, apart from the licensing terms and method of activation. For the individual, like you, the sensible option is Ultimate. The Enterprise version is designed for businesses, and indeed is only distributed only to large customers who buy volume licenses.

However, the question remains: Why do you want to upgrade? The only additional features over Professional are some advanced networking features, Bitlocker encryption and support for multiple languages.

Please will folks on this forum just answer the questions and stop interrogating people as to their licensing crap and why they want to do this. These people are proxying for many others that don't want to hit your forum with the same questions over and over, but simply read the answer. Help us.

I fail to see the need for your anger, but the people trying to help are all unpaid volunteers and one of the rules of WSF is that we do not and cannot discuss methods of obtaining software that are not legal.

When someone is asked where they got their software from and are told "it was a code Microsoft gave me" they smell a rat.

If you don't like how we conduct our forum, don't post - it's as simple as that, but I for one am getting rather tired of the tedious pops at our voluntary helpers.
