Have a friend who was living close to Sidmouth, Devon. Visited him often in the 90`s, can still remember how beautiful the landscape is.

For me any good place is OK, IŽll be there if this really happens. Suggesting Dusseldorf was only because I am willing to make this happen, organize and maybe even get some sponsors. If I organize this, it has to be here.

i am only 6 miles (10km) away from sidmouth! i go there regularly to look at the sea and listen to the waves washing through the beach stones - one of my favourite sounds.

Dang! I already spent my money on the beta, RC 7100 and all the leaked version meetings. and i'm not even talking about the XP meetings, the SP1 meeting, the SP2 meeting... and Office is being released.

To each his own, and no offense intended.... but you guys should get a life instead of meeting on the sale of a software. It's a great software and all, and I'm a bit curious and nerdy hence the RC 7100... but it is just a tool I use to do my work. Maybe I'm going to buy it right away on 10/22 and install it... but flying over the place to meet?

Again, no offense and so... but you should spend more time programming, configuring the PC or playing games. That all probably makes more sense to your significant other than meeting on a release date of W7.

Have fun if you must, but I voted "no" as you could imagine. To each his own.

If I left my wife for some days to meet people I met over the internet to celebrate the release of a software ... I don't even want to go there.

If it continues like this, roughly one one third of both YES and MAYBE, I think weŽll organize something.

Lets wait a few more days to see.

Since I'm still in college, I vote for an online thing. I don't have a lot of money to get a webcam, maybe a msn/aim/whatever convo could for some of us.
