East Asian Languages in Windows Explorer Won't Show...

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum and I'm having an issue that I cannot seem to fix.

I have a folder filled with photos and they are all titled in different languages. For some reason, all of the Chinese characters appear as normal boxes...

Here's the interesting part, it ONLY happens in explorer... I can see all Asian characters fine in my web browsers, but when I copy them over to name a file or folder, they turn into boxes.

At some point a long time ago I did not have this problem, and I have no idea what I've done to cause it. Solutions greatly appreciated.

This post seems to have gotten lost in the void? Does anyone have any suggestions?
