Screen dims than brightens on it's own after reinstalling Win7

I reinstalled Windows 7 and the screen on the computer has started to dim slightly then will brighten back up.

I have set the power functions to not go into energy conservation mode.

I wonder if I am missing a driver or something.

I have the computer hooked to external monitors but they are not affected. Just the screen on the laptop itself.

What could be causing the screen to dim on it's own?

It's the brightness control of the display it happens to mine too when the computer is idle for 3 to 5 minutes you can adjust it at the bottom of the screen under power options I believe.

Power Plan Settings - Change

I have done that. It will do it even when I am typing.

I have same problem. Tried everything I can think of, including suggestions noted here. Did you you ever find a solution? Thanks.
