How to put fax and scan back into my all programs listing?

How do I get Windows fax and scan back to my all programs listing? It was there in the past, however, since I dragged the icon from the all programs listing to my desktop I no longer have it listed in all programs its installed but just not listed in all programs. I'm running Windows 7 64 bit.

    tfrank,
with window explorer, locate wfs.exe which is in \windows\system32
Right-click on wfs.exe and choose Pin to Start Menu

If you can't view the info using Windows Explorer, then you need to
    WIN + E | Organize | Folder and Search Options | View tab |
Show hidden files, folders and drives radio button |
Uncheck Hide extensions for known file types |
Uncheck Hide protected operating sytem files |
ignore the dire warning of possible disaster |
    Apply button | OK button

WIN is the key with the wavy microsoft flag on top.
tell the explorer to show hidden, system,

I tried your suggestions, however, it still doesn't show up in all programs.

Well, as Karl noted, the program is %windir%\system32\WFS.exe. What you can do, is the following:

    1. find this file in Explorer (you can easily do it provided you followed Karl's instructions and made system files visible), right-click on it and choose Send To -> Desktop (Create Shortcut). This will place a shortcut to the fax program on your desktop.

    2. After this, click Start and then right-click on any folder in the start menu, preferably on the folder where you want to put the Fax shortcut, and choose Open All Users. This will open an Explorer Window exactly where the start menu is.

    3. Finally, move the shortcut from the desktop to the Start Menu folder open the above Explorer Window.

    Hope this helps.

Not showing up in all programs is something else.

do you now have a shortcut to fax and scan in your Start Menu?
