How many error messages do you get each day?

I would find it interesting to see how many error messages show up in your event viewer, on average, each day.

I can get a lot when I am installing/configuring new hardware or software, and most of my error messages get generated on each start-up. On average when things are running reasonably well I still get 10 or 12 a day. Most (all?) of these don't seem to cause any problems for me.

In any event - how many do you get?

The same 2 every boot and I could stop them if I disabled a couple of un-needed drivers. In fact I might get off my bum and do that.

Mostly I get "The server {E10F6C3A-F1AE-4ADC-AA9D-2FE65525666E} did not register with DCOM within the required timeout." which I think is caused by the latest few releases of the AMD video drivers.

Huh...unless I have a problem this is not really even an area that I look at on a regular basis. I went back and looked at my event viewer over the past week here on my work machine and I get 2-4 errors in any given day. Mostly WMI errors, certificate renewals, domain controller errors when I am not connected to the network and thus cannot find a DC for authentication.

I used to get some errors when I tried to install and run some 32 bit utilities on my new laptop with Win 7 x64..... Later on found 64 bit replacements and the errors stopped.

Now there are hardly any errors with normal usage. Windows 7 x64 is sailing smoothly...:)

I really do not know. But since I am not a power user, I am not alarmed. However, this question has made me curious and I am now on a quest to learn how many errors the system is producing.

I hope I can not crash the system doing this but I will soon find out.

    Thanks for tweaking my curiosity.
