I Really Need Help !

Hey everyone,

I have downloaded 7600.16385. it is 2.32 GB. I have no DVD-RW(it says dvd/cd-rw(combo) ) so i planned to install it from USB stick but my USB stick is 2.0 GB .

I tried to compress the ISO with Winrar,PowerISO and UltraISO they all made 2.20 GB which is larger size than my USB stick.

Any other ideas or ways to pass trough that problem ?

Come on guys come on !

Do you have a second partition on your HD, or a second drive?

If you have another partition or drive, then these may help if you do not want to get a larger USB key.

Install Windows 7 Without Using Any External Device

or

Install Windows 7 FAST without a DVD or USB device

Hope this helps,
Shawn

The OP could always use the 'Computer Management Console' to shrink C drive and create a new partition. This will allow the OP to expand the ISO (using PowerISO free tiral) to a folder on C and install from there. This will give 2 boot options but there are ways around that (EasyBCD)

I always "upgrade" install right from the extracted iso on the desktop...never any problems.
