Windows 7: Home Premium 64 bit thumbnails

Home Premium 64 bit thumbnails

I can't figure out how to stop caching of thumbnails in home premium. Whenever I insert my camera's memory card in the computer to copy pictures off of it, windows shows me old thumbnails. I know I can use disk cleanup and it will get rid of them but I have to do that every time and I want it to stop. In XP I just told it not to store thumbnails and I want to do the same here. Please note home premium does not have group policy editor--that seems to be the only way to fix it according to Google.

I found Thumbnail Cache - Enable or Disable and tried downloading and running the disable_thumbnail_cache.reg file then logging off and back on but it didn't fix anything.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
CJ
