    Custom zoom level has disappeared

I installed a RC copy of Win7 last week on the HTPC i have connected to my TV. During initial setup of the resolution i noticed an option underneath the resolution slider called "make items appear larger" (or something like that) that showed options to increase the size of icons, programs browser etc. There were some default options that went up to 150% and a custom option which i set at 200%

Yesterday, after a few updates were installed i noticed that everything was appearing slightly smaller so i re-checked the options and it is now set to 150% which is the "largest" setting and there is no option for a custom setting.

Does anyone know why this has changed or how i can increase the size back to 200%

    thanks.

Hello Mango, and welcome to Vista Forums.

You should be able to select 200% using step 6 in the tutorial below.

DPI Display Size Settings - Change

You can also lower the screen resolution to make everything appear larger as well.

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

Hi Brink, thanks for the answer, i've got the 200% view back on now so i can see what i'm doing!

I did think about changing the resolution but it was displaying (native resolution) next to it so thought it was best not to mess with it.

You're welcome Mango. Yeah, it is best to keep the native resolution.
