Windows 7: My trouble shooting does not work anymore.

Troubleshooting does not work in any thing that I am trying to rectify via troubleshooting,I get this message...."an error has occurred while troubleshooting" is the box headline and below that " a problem is preventing troubleshooting from starting" all instances of trouble shooting is not working,older games to run is not the only problem is seems as I get the error messages as above when trying to trouble shoot anything at all.When I go to view error details are PCWdiagnosics,Path C:\Windows\diagnostics\system\PCW ,Error code0x8007000E,Source,engine, Thank you for your help.
