    Actual version running??

Is there a way to tell which version level one is running (ie. 7264,7265, 7223, ec.)? When I run winver it just says build 7600 but not the other numbers. Weren't they all towards the end 7600-XXXXX?? When you go to system it doesn't show any version numbers..Just curious as there were so many version numbers floating around wanted to be sure had the latest and greatest instead of reinstalling only to find out I did have it to begin with... THANKS....

Yup, you can wait until it's actually released to know for sure.

Go to Run and type: slmgr.vbs -dlv

    Wait for this window...

You can also execute a built-in program (e.g. Notepad) and then click Help and About.

With those builds, doesn't he display the numbers on the Right-hand side of the Taskbar?

Or did that go away after 7201 ?

    Edit:
On reread, it appears (to me) that speedracer is misinterpreting the -XXXX,
probably thinking the 7264, 7265 etc replaces the x's....

No, the first four numbers counted up: from 7100 to 7264,,,, to 7600.
